Sydney Wedding Photographers. Est. 2007.
Early this year I got the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Annica and John and came back home with some really nice images and a big smile on my face.
As you can see from the picture I really didn't have to work hard at all. Even if I tried, I could not take a bad photo of the beautiful bride and the bridesmaids and the same with the groom and the groomsmen.
It was almost like working in a movie set. Everyone looked like movie stars- they got married in a beautiful small church in the beautiful Southern Highlands and the reception was at the beautiful Centennial Vineyards, Bowral. Only this time it was all real. Real love, real story. I still remember the speeches with stories of how they met, the story of their first date, the sacrifices and devotion... and at the end- a beautiful and memorable wedding. Some lines of the speeches, especially a few by the groom himself could have been told at the the Melbourne comedy festival and would be a hit! I missed a few shots because I laughed so hard, just couldn't keep my hands steady.
This wedding and the story of Annica and John had all the ingredients of a romantic comedy movie with a very happy ending. It was one of those weddings where I just couldn't wait for the next morning to download the images and look at them. I wish them all the happiness and a very happy married life and thank them for being so nice. Nice people deserve to be happy.
Most of the photos were taken with Nikon D600 and D750 with 24-70mm and 70-200mm F2.8 lens. But for the first time i also use Fuji Xt10 camera with 18mm f2 and the incredible 56mm F1.2 lens. The Nikon was expected to produce good images and it did but the little fuji really impressed me. The Fuji 56 f1.2 is officially the best lens I have ever used and 18mm f2 isn't anywhere in the optics department, but gets the job done and can still produce some nice images.
